Selling and buying: Two roads….
The Smith family’s home was spotless, the air fresh with lemon-scented cleaner. Weeks of decluttering and staging had paid off; Sarah could feel it. The first showing had gone smoothly, and by the third, their real estate team at team CallThatAgent.com called with good news: “You’ve got an offer.”
“That was fast,” Dan said, smiling as he hugged Sarah. “Maybe this won’t be so bad after all.”
Their relief grew when their offer on a spacious colonial was accepted the same week. “We’ll close on both homes the same day,” Luis’s team assured them. The coordinated timeline felt like a miracle.
Moving day arrived without a hitch. The movers loaded the truck at their old home and headed straight to the new one. By evening, the family stood in their new living room, surrounded by boxes and dreaming of the life they’d build there. “We really did it,” Sarah said, tears in her eyes.
Sometimes, things do go according to plan.
Who is, that agent?
Luis Del Toro began his sales career in his teen years working at Sears Outlet in San Leandro, CA., ‘The Good Guys,’ in Hayward, CA and Emeryville, CA., among other sales and random jobs. From Appliances to clothing, fruits and vegetables to knifes and vacuums door-to-door, his first “real job” as he calls it, was selling new and used vehicles at Good Chevrolet in Alameda, CA, where he realized the power of commission sales and decided to pursue it long-term. In 2001, Luis entered a financial advising company while still working as a car salesmen, obtaining a license for life insurance with opportunities to offer and get licensed for mutual funds. However, he soon discovered that real estate, particularly home loan refinancing, was where his true interest lay. This was a small part of the financial advising company, but became his whole world.
Luis transitioned to a loan broker in Hayward, CA, and quickly found success. He joined the real estate industry during a hot market, and after thriving through a market downturn, he founded ‘Call-That-Agent.’ Today, Luis focuses on his investments and leads his East Bay Area team at CallThatAgent.com, alongside a network of agents across California through CallThatRealEstateAgent.com.
